Just like that...he's 4.
My son turned 4 on Father’s Day.
I’m not sure how I expected to feel. Excited that he’s becoming more and more independent and hilarious? Maybe sad that my baby isn’t a baby anymore? Maybe all the things.
I think this milestone was different because one, we’re in the middle of a pandemic. No party. No friends. Two, I turned 40 just a few weeks ago. 40 was always my “no more kids” age. So…am I really done? I don’t know that answer to that….
